We were extremely busy and active during the month of March in Senior Infants! It was great to be finally back in school with all our friends. We had lots of fun learning about Spring, the farm, money and we also created some beautiful daffodil art work. The class set up a farm shop in the classroom, they took turns practicing buying and selling play items. This was really enjoyed by all the children in the class! As a school, we celebrated 'Lá Glas' as part of our St. Patrick's Day celebration. The teachers and children dressed up in green for the day. In Maths, we looked at money. We practiced using our coins by setting up a play shop at the top of the classroom where we had the opportunity to buy some delicious treats!! Our favourite thing this month was our Spring Hunt Walk. The children enjoyed getting some fresh air while looking for the different signs of Spring around the school grounds.
