We have had a very busy November in Evergreen A!
We have been working through the Stay Safe programme, learning about feelings, adults we can trust and what to do if we are lost. We have also learned about touches we like and touches we don't like. We know to say, "NO, GET AWAY!" and to tell an adult if we are feeling upset, hurt or worried.
We have been developing our social skills during our weekly outings and have been working on including others in our games. We learned how to join in with a game and to take turns sharing the equipment.
In Science, we learned all about the water cycle, why water is so important and ways we can save water.
In Art, we enjoyed constructing caves from papier mache. We used newspaper and glue mixed with water to create the cave and we were very excited to remove the cup from the structure to see if it would keep its shape! Once they were dry, we painted them in different shades of brown and green to give it a realistic effect. They look fantastic!
