Marcella's 2nd Class have had a busy and fun-filled month!
Here are some picture of us learning about the water cycle and creating our own water cycle in a bag. We got to observe the process when we hung them from the windows.
We did science experiments at home and then got to see the videos and pictures at school of everyone's work. We also tried out some in the classroom. In the pictures below, we experimented with water and we were surprised when we put the pencil through the bag, the water didn't come out!
We have been learning about hibernation. In art, we have started creating papier mache bear caves.
We enjoyed mental maths games on the IPADS and learned about angles with lollipop sticks. We made our own metre sticks to measure things around the classroom.
In science, we used torches to find out if materials were transparent, translucent or opaque.
This blog is for Marcella and Róisín's 2nd classes.
